Roses Care

🔆 Where to Plant: Give garden roses a spot in full sun. They need six hours or more of direct sunlight each day for strong growth and good flowering. With too little light, they may fail to bloom or produce inferior flowers. A mild climate is best; the ideal temperature is 18–28°C. If it gets hotter than 33°C, growth can suffer. During strong sun and high heat, afternoon shade is recommended.

🪴 Soil Preparation: Plant in a loose, well-aerated, free-draining soil that is rich in nutrients. Try mixing 40% peat moss, 20% coconut fiber, and 40% garden soil. Healthy soil is the foundation for vigorous growth and vivid blooms.

💦 Watering & Feeding: Water regularly, but do not let the soil become waterlogged. When planting, use organic sheep manure as a base fertilizer. Feed weekly with a light water-soluble fertilizer to support the plant throughout every stage of growth.

✂️ Pruning & Upkeep: Prune regularly to keep roses healthy and attractive. Remove diseased, dead, or weak branches. Thin out dense growth, and cut back spent flowers and long branches. For old branches, cut them back to the base of the bush to promote new growth and improve the plant’s overall look.

Following these steps will help your roses stay healthy and bloom beautifully for years.
